'creating better citizens through golf!'
The Mt. Irvine Golf Course is the home course of the LEEWARD GOLFERS ASSOCIATION.
This golf course belongs to the Mt. Irvine Bay Resort hotel, formerly known as the 'Mt. Irvine Bay Hotel and Golf Course'. This hotel was owned by Mr. Robert Theophilus Yorke until his passing in 2015.
Through Mr. Yorke's kind patronage, our informal group of local golf players was transformed into the non-profit golfing organisation that we are today. A photograph of the current Leeward Golfers Association's Board of Directors (2024 - 2026) is included below,.
We are especially committed to our vision of helping to develop young people (and young golfers, in particular).
We passionately believe in our mission statement- 'creating better citizens through golf'!
